Jocelyn Jones | Bio
Jocelyn Jones is an unapologetic Christian who has a deep desire to help people grow their relationship with God.
She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in journalism. After receiving her B.A., Jocelyn worked for channel 20, WYCC. She left her position there to work at the ARK of St. Sabina, where she served for eleven years, eight of which were in the role of Executive Director. While at the ARK, Jocelyn earned her master’s degree from the University of Chicago in social work in 2012. In 2017, Jocelyn accepted her call into ministry and enrolled at McCormick Theological Seminary. There, she will earn her master’s degree in theological studies in May 2020.
Jocelyn founded the ministry Faith on the Journey in 2018 and formed its sister company, Journey Consulting, in 2019, whose mission is to help companies that promote social good to share their story with the world. She is the author of the book Breaking the Power of the Mask, designed to help people discover emotional healing, freedom, and joy on their journey with God.
Jocelyn is a sought-after Christian speaker, who facilitates conferences, retreats, and other ministry events that help people to heal from trauma and pain of their past. “Helping people to become whole and see themselves as God does is my calling,” Jones says. “I can’t find a more meaningful way to spend my time here on earth than that.”
